Ingredients:

  • Peanuts – 250 gms.
  • Dates – 9 no’s or according to taste
  • Cardamom – 1

 

Procedure:

Dry roast the peanuts in a medium heat in a skillet until it starts to turn brown. Then transfer it to a plate and allow it to cool down.

Once it is cooled down scrub it with your hands and remove the skin. Instead of doing this you can also use roasted skinless peanuts available in the market. But make sure there is no other ingredient added to it while roasting. Most cases the peanuts are roasted with flour and other ingredients to retain the crispiness. That’s the reason I buy the plain peanuts and roast it myself.

 

Add the peanuts to blender and grind it to coarse powder. Then add the powdered cardamom and the dates to the blender.

Grind it again to course and make small ladoo balls by pressing it between your palm and fingers.

If you couldn't make balls, add few more pasted dates or you can also add few tbsps of honey to make balls.

Store it in an air tight container. Keep it in fridge if you want to store it for more days.
