Ingredients:

  • Almonds – 100 gms
  • Cashew nuts – 100 gms
  • Walnuts – 100 gms
  • Pistachios – 100 gms
  • Dates – 10 no’s
  • Cardamom – 1

 

Procedure:

Dry roast the nuts in a hot pan. Allow it to cool down. Roast and powder the cardamom seeds.

Transfer the nuts to the blender and grind it to coarse powder. Transfer the powdered nuts to a bowl.

Add the dates to the blender and grind it to paste. Transfer the dates paste to the same bowl.

Mix the dates’ paste and the nut powder well together.Take a small rectangle/square or any shaped box. Here I have used a rectangle shaped box. Add little amount of the nut mix to the box and press it firmly to 1 inch height. The nuts dates’ mixture gets set in few mins.

Carefully remove it from the box and cut it into desired size.

Instead of pressing the nut mixture in a box, you can also make balls from it.

Store the cake in an air tight container for a week. You can refrigerate it for more than a week.

I have used Almonds, cashews, pistachios and walnuts for this recipe. But you can also use other nuts for this recipe. Adjust the number of date to adjust the sweetness.

You can also grind the nuts to fine powder instead of coarse powder to make these sweets.
